La hiperplasia prostática benigna, o HPB, puede ocurrir cuando una pequeña glándula llamada próstata provoca problemas en la vejiga de los hombres. La HPB es muy común en hombres mayores. Al alcanzar los 60 años, la mayoría de los hombres ha tenido al menos algunos síntomas de HPB.
