What foods are high in calcium?

The foods you eat contain nutrients, such as vitamins and minerals. Calcium is a nutrient. Your body needs
the right amount to stay healthy and work as it should. You can use the list below to help you make choices
about which foods to eat.

Here are some foods that contain calcium.

Fruits

  • Figs, dried

  • Orange juice, fortified with calcium

Vegetables

  • Bok choy

  • Broccoli

  • Collard greens

  • Kale

Grains

  • Cereals, fortified with calcium

Dairy and dairy alternatives

  • Cheese

  • Milk

  • Non-dairy milk (almond, rice, soy), fortified with calcium

  • Yogurt

Protein foods

  • Almonds

  • Salmon or sardines, canned with bones

  • Soybeans

  • Tofu, fortified with calcium
